Moore & Wright expands testing and inspection rangeCamberley-based Bowers Group continues to strengthen its heritage brand, Moore & Wright, with the launch of an expanded range of advanced testing and inspection equipment. Following two successful product launches earlier in 2024, this latest release introduces a selection of new high-precision products including microscopes, a versatile videoscope, and essential measurement tools.

Martin Hawkins, Bowers Group’s managing director, said: “We are always looking for new ways to evolve the Moore & Wright brand, and this latest range is a great example of that. It is all about giving engineers and manufacturers the tools they need to work more accurately, efficiently, and with greater confidence. These new products build on Moore & Wright’s strong reputation for reliability and precision, and we are proud to keep pushing this forward.”

The latest additions to the Moore & Wright portfolio are designed to deliver accurate, non-destructive measurement and inspection across a range of applications, from hardness testing to internal component analysis. Included in the range are practical and reliable tools designed to support everyday inspection tasks. For example, the new Ultrasonic hardness testers offer quick, non-destructive hardness testing, with options for motorised or manual probes, multi-scale readings, and wireless data transfer. A digital video microscope provides clear imaging with adjustable lighting and real-time display, while the Stereo Zoom microscope allows for 3-D magnification from 6.7 to 45x.

The range also features a flexible videoscope (pictured) with a 360deg articulated probe and a high-resolution camera, ideal for inspecting hard-to-reach areas. Meanwhile, the Digital Dial Snap micrometer offers IP54-rated protection, dual analogue/digital readouts, and data connectivity via USB or wireless. Built to deliver trusted Moore & Wright quality, these innovative tools provide the precision and reliability engineers and manufacturers need.
